SALE CONDITIONS and Informations
To read them easily, we recommend you to print the
following conditions and informations
How are we making our Works of Art?
All our frames (bases) are made, like in the past, in
parqueted floor, with Norway’s pinetree (respect of the ecosystem + Top quality
wood specific for making the best quality furniture and accessories), the
straight sticks are made in wood too, the mouldings and ornaments are made in
“Gros Blanc” (antique special mixture) like the ones of Versailles’Castle with
a specific process that makes them more resistant versus variations of
temperatures (air-conditioning, central heating) and higrometrical variations
(dry air, humidity, dampness, sea breeze…). All the ornaments and sticks are
hand-gilded and the front parts of the bases are hand-painted with the colours
of your choice. Our patinas are made with guenine bee-wax and natural pigments.
Pricing. All the prices of our works of art (and invoicing) are
in Euros, Ex Works Alaquas (Valencia – Spain)
Then there is to add the transport +
insurance that are in charge of the Custommer.
Colors and Swatches. You can choose your color and also send us
color-swatches by post at the adress you will find at the bottom of this message.
How long? We usually need 5 weeks to elaborate our
models.
With paintings = Oil on canvas :
It takes us 15 days more when we have to paint an oil on canvas.
Shipping: The shipping by plane takes approximatively a little
week, in door to door.
Shipping cost for U.S.A.and Canada: The cost depends on the volume and the
weight of the expedition + the cost of the insurance that depends on
the value of the expedition.
For all the other countries in the world, the shipping
cost depends on the weight/volume, value and delivery adress. Please consult us
for futher information.
In any case, expeditions / transport are in charge of
the Custommer’s own risk, who has the choice to have the goods picked up with
the transport company of his choise. He can also ask us to propose him a
transport company, but, in both cases, Mr.David Jousselin may never be held
liable for any reason whatsoever (delays, damage, total and partial losses).
The Parties expressly agree that the carrier is the Customer's authorised
agent. Therefore, the Customer shall be responsible for exercising all claims:
We recommend you to write on the delivery voucher “under
checking of the content” and even better, verify immediatly while the delivery
man is still there, and address the claims directly to the transport company.
Packaging. In special package =
a compacted-wooden box = 60 Euros each one - We can put 2 trumeaux-mirrors + 2 door-tops
in each one (= less than 1
cubic meter).
Views. If you let us know the references of the models you
have selected ( for ex : T20 means trumeau #20 , M20 mirror #20, …A1…B5…etc),
we can send you back better views.
HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER?
Address. To make an
estimate and proforma invoice (as for the invoicing),We need to know your
complete private or profesionnal datas (Country, state and city - Name of your
company, address, phone# for the day of the delivery).
First, You inform us, by e-mail, about the model(s)
you have choosen and we send you a pro-forma invoice (= Estimate with
all the details).
Then, as soon as you receive the estimate, as to
confirm your order, there is only to make a transfer to our bank account
and inform us that it is in process:
Orders below 3 000,00 € (value of the works of art) = Total
payment of the pro-forma within 8 days of its sending. After this delay,
the order will be.considered as cancelled.
Order equal or above 3 000,00 € (value of the works of
art) = 50% deposit when ordering or within 8 days of the pro-forma
sending. After this delay , the order will be considered as canceled.
Balance due before expedition within 8 open days of the shipping.
Payment only by bank transfer, bank costs for the
buyer. The goods can only be delivered after full payment of the invoice.
The deposit paid is considered as a payment (any
cancellation from the custommer) so it can only be transfered into a credit.
As soon as we received your
deposit or full payment, we will send you, by e-mail, the detail
of the transaction from our
bank+ the invoice (as a confirmation of your partial or full payment by
transfer) and we elaborate your order.
Delivery time 5+1 . 5 weeks later(+2 weeks for the trumeaux with an oil on canvas), we
join the transporter to pick up your goods.
Delivery delays are on indication and no damage,
interest, partial or full annullment of the order or deposit refunding will be
accepted and given.
Then, approximatively + 1
week later, at home, there is only to appreciate! Most of our sympathetic
custommers send us a view and we enjoy to discover the new life of David
Jousselin's Works of Art. It is yours now!
